“Hollywood’s most highly acclaimed screenwriting contest!”
Helping talented new screenwriters get discovered…
On behalf of our Judges and Administrative Staff, I’d like to thank everyone who entered The 2016 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards competition! We received a record total of 6,315 entries in this year’s contest. To take a sneak peek at where all of this year’s contestants live and write, simply click this link: 2016 Contestants Map
CONGRATULATIONS to our 2016 Quarter-Finalists! Our Semi-Finalists will be announced on August 15. Finalists will be announced on September 15. And on October 15, our Judges will once again present over $50,000 in Cash & Prizes to some of the most talented new screenwriters from across the country and around the world – including Gold, Silver & Bronze Prizes in ten different genre categories, plus our huge $25,000 Grand Prize!
In addition, it’s important to note…
The PAGE Awards screenwriting contest is an international competition and you do not have to be based in Los Angeles to win. Just take a look at where all of our past winners have come from:
Most importantly, over the past decade the PAGE Awards competition has become one of the most important sources for new screenwriting talent within the Hollywood community and worldwide.
Each year, some of Hollywood’s top producers, agents, managers, and development execs judge our screenplay contest and read our winning scripts, and as a result, dozens of our winning writers have landed script assignments, secured representation, signed option agreements on their work, and many now have movies and television shows in production, on the air and in theaters. You can learn more about them on the Success Stories pages of our website.
If you’re interested in entering next year’s contest, we will begin accepting submissions for the 2017 PAGE Awards competition in December.
In the meantime, to stay in touch with all of our latest screenwriting contest updates and behind-the-scenes news, I invite you to sign up for your free subscription to “LOGLINE: The Screenwriter’s eZine” by filling out the box on the left-hand side of this page. And I also invite you to join our international community of screenwriters on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @PAGEawards. It’s the very best way to connect with your fellow writers and stay up to date on what’s happening here at PAGE H.Q.!
Stay tuned for more…
